Fishing Charters

Based in Newcastle Harbour Co Down, Mourne Fishing charters is the only dedicated charter service offering fishing trips within the region. Surrounded by the stunning scenery of The Mourne Mountains we offer 90 min trips for “fishing & fun”. Our trips are designed for those who wish to immerse themselves in a fun and active experience aboard “The Wanderer”, our 27ft Lough Neagh fishing charter vessel. Our boat is fully coded by the MCA and has all relevant safety equipment on board, our skipper is also RYA commercially endorsed.

We do not guarantee that everyone will catch some type of fish, however our crew will closely monitor our on board fish finder and get you to the best fishing places on the day.

Basic fishing gear will be supplied and our crew will assist throughout the trip to ensure you have a memorable experience. You can bring your own fishing gear if desired.

Our trips are designed to be a fun experience for all ages (with restrictions) and aim to give everyone that opportunity to get out into open waters and experience the thrill of sport fishing.
